SAfe - Data Audit Trail
The SAfe software module was developed as a Data Management checklist system, which may be licensed as a tool to keep an audit trail for critical data.

The SAfe software includes both an audit process and a tool for storing and viewing the results of the audits.

Checklists could be maintained by using spreadsheets. But by using a small database, SAfe provides the following benefits:

  • More flexibility of presentation
  • Easier comparison of the data collected
  • Additional criteria may be added as required
  • Checklists can be linked to other data stores
Where available, the SAfe database may be linked to the master data catalogue or other existing data stores. The data can also be input to the database via Web browser screens.

To set up SAfe all that is required is an ORACLE RDBMS © environment and the Oracle Application Server © to be installed somewhere on the network. Users will simply need their PC hooked into the network and the browser of their choice.
